Integror group memebers Dominik Flejter, Tomasz Kaczmarek and Marek Kowalkiewicz are chairs of the 2nd Workshop on Social Aspects of the Web to be held in conjunction with 11th International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS 2008) at the begining of May 2008 in Innsbruck (Austria). This year's edition features wider range of topics crossing the border between IT and social sciences, as well as extended, more international Program Committee. Call for papers of the workshop is available on-line at BIS Web site and the submission system may be accessed here. The deadline for submissions is on January, 12th, 2008. |

Integror paper authored by Witold Abramowicz, Dominik Flejter and Tomasz Kaczmarek, titled "Architectures for Deep Web Data Extraction and Integration" (see: Publications page for PDF version) was presented on Thursday at the international conference "Information systems architecture and technology: information systems concepts, tools and applications (ISAT 2007). During the Friday closing session the paper was selected one of five conference best papers (five equal "Best Papers" awards were presented) and authors were invited to submit its extended version to SYSTEM SCIENCE journal. |
